Beaumond House Community Hospice is a registered charity that is committed to providing supportive palliative care to patients with life limiting or terminal illnesses and their families living in Newark & district, since 1987. Beaumond House operates over an approximate radius of 15 miles from Newark. The area it therefore encompasses include: Tuxford, Bilsthorpe, Ollerton, Sutton-on-Trent, Thorpe-on-the-Hill, Leadenham, Caythorpe, Long Bennington, Bottesford, Bingham, Lowdham, Southwell, Collingham and Bassingham.

Newark MIND is proud to work with the communities, business and schools across Newark & Sherwood and beyond into parts of Lincolnshire.

Our vision is simple, there should be no person who can’t talk openly about their feelings and thoughts and no person should not have a shoulder to cry on and be supported by. When in need of services, they should be prompt and helpful, importantly they should be compassionate.

We value the support from the community, the press, the volunteers, donors, fundraisers and local businesses that provide support with funds. Its a collective effort to realise a big ambition for our town and district.

The Children’s Bereavement Centre is a uniquely special centre, where children, young people and their families from Nottinghamshire and parts of Lincolnshire who are affected by terminal illness, death or parental separation, can access the support and guidance they need.

Although it is a natural part of life the loss of someone close can be a distressing and overwhelming experience, especially for children and young people.

Our core services are free, but as a registered charity donations are always welcome. Our services are available to children and young people aged 3-18 and their close family members regardless of race, class, sexual orientation, disability and special needs.

Faith in Families is a registered charity and independent adoption agency, known as Adopt Together. We have a small, highly professional and experienced team of adoption specialists who are dedicated in ensuring that your adoption journey is as smooth as possible.

We are based in Nottingham but work throughout the East Midlands to help children find new homes.  Our strong partnerships with Local Authorities means that we have more opportunities to match you with the children waiting to find their forever family. We also offer adoption support services, volunteering opportunities and training and consultancy programmes

Reach UK Adults with learning disabilities are amongst the most vulnerable and disadvantaged groups in society. They are at very high risk of social isolation, and poor health and all too frequently feel ignored and forgotten by other people.  So, we offer all kinds of support to enable adults with learning disabilities to gain the skills and confidence they need to start achieving these things. We help family carers to get the support they are entitled to and represent the needs of adults with learning disabilities and their families at all levels.

Counselling and Support for Young People CASY

The Shaw Mind Foundation

The Shaw Mind Foundation's common goal is to significantly reduce suicide across the UK. We do this by developing innovative ways to support children and the next generation to flourish and cope with the emotional demands of modern-day life. We also support businesses to shape positive mental health and well-being in the workplace through bespoke training packages.
