The 2022 race will take place on the 14th August - Start Time 9.30am

The Newark Half Marathon is a flat, fast and scenic summer race. It has a fun run and entertainment for all the family in support of our Newark based charity partners and is sponsored by local Financial Planners DB Wood. 

Numbers will be posted to all entrants a few days before the event and will incorporate the chip timing technology. 

 

Online registration closes 7th August 2022 23.59hrs.  Postal and charity entries close on the 24th July 2022. Numbers will need to be collected on the day if you have entered after 24th July. Late entry numbers to be collected from race HQ in Sconce Park on the day.

Where shall I park?


There will be no car parking for runners at Sconce and Devon Park. There is however ample parking throughout Newark town centre which is a short walking distance away. You can find see the local car parking options via The NSDC Car Park List and The Newark Town Map




What time should I arrive on the day if I registered prior to 24th July?


Turn up in time to warm up and be at the start line before 9.15am. You will already have received your race number via the post




What time should I arrive on the day if I have registered after the 24th July?


You will need to arrive between 7.30am and 8.30am sharp in order to collect your number. Please allow plenty of time in case you need to queue.




Can I enter on the day?

Where are the Water Station and Toilets?


Water stations at 2, 5, 7, 9 & 11 miles. Toilets at 7 miles. Sponge Station at 10miles.




Can I wear headphones?


The use of bone conductor style headphones will be permitted in line with UKA rules and safety reasons. All other headphones are not permitted and anyone found using these will be disqualified.




Will I get anything for finishing?


Yes all finishers of the Half Marathon and fun run will get a memento.




Will there be a secure bag store area?
