As far as we know this is the only half marathon in the UK that unites 4 running clubs to organise an event like this.  This ensures that the organisation and route is ideal for club runners.  At the same time it gives local entrants an opportunity to talk to club runners and sample what is on offer.  Hopefully this will lead to you joining up and getting support to take up running whatever your ability and aspirations.

Newark Athletic Club compete in various athletic disciplines including cross country, track & field (indoor & outdoor), road running and sports hall athletics. They are affiliated to The Midland Counties Athletic Association, UK Athletics, The Midland Men’s & Women’s Cross Country & Road Running Association and the Nottinghamshire Amateur Athletic Association.
