The Committee
The DB Wood Newark Half Marathon committee is made up of local runners, all with a passion for the local community and running, almost all of us have ran the Newark Half Marathon in previous years and we are all current or ex members of local running clubs.
Our combined running years is - 160+
Every committee member is a volunteer, involved in the decisions, set up and organisation of the event, from planning and changes to event setup and post race review.
You will more thank likely see us at the local Newark parkrun, local races and on the event day running the DB Wood Newark Half Marathon course or running around the event village in a lovely shade of green or blue high vis.
